Posted to TT in 5 Days on 27 Jul 2010
congrats! i cants wait to see before and afters if you are willing to post them. im still in the transition of losing more of the babyweight before i get a TT done so i get maximal results. who was your PS, if you dont mind me asking.
i am so sorry to hear about your experience. though, congrats on losing 26 pounds! i would go to a different doctor, maybe a dermatologist and talk to them about getting skin graphs to help the wounds close up and heal.. best of luck.
it may, you would have to talk to your doctor performing it. and depending on how he would stitch you back up. have you considered the alternative method, its called essure, it only takes 15 minutes, no surgery. they place it in your tubes so scar tissue will grow around it and block off any entry for the egg to come down. its ALOT cheaper, it does take 3 months for it to fully form and take affect, but its well worth it better than going back under the knife. i did it, and i dont regret it at all. no pain, just a few small cramps. look it up on the website essure.com
yes, there is a burning sensations if you have ripped a suture. i would just try not to pick up the child as much, and wear your binder as much as possible so your not flexing your abdominal muscle so much. but i guess picking up and putting down the child should be alright?
it looks to me like he may have taken off to much skin on the sides. its looks the your pelvic bones are pretty wide set, and he did not take that in consideration when removing the excess skin. im not sure if the revision would be the same as another tummy tuck, but im pretty sure the pain would be pretty close to similar, your just not tightening your abdominal wall which shouldnt make the experience too horrific. Depending on how large the scar is determines whether they need to take skin from another part of the body. If it is a small scar the Dr. can usually just remove the scar and close the wound. If it is a large scar or an abnormally shaped scar then they would need to do a full thickness skin graft. and i heard skin grafts are painful. if you dont want to go through the surgery again, maybe try some of the mederma skin cream, its a bit pricey, and takes a few weeks, but it does really work. i had this huge gash on my right calve when i was in middle school, and after about a month or 2 after i applyed the cream every day, the scar is about an inch long now. besieds that, i think your results look great!very nice hour glass figure, which all surgeons should be aiming towards. ive seen other women with TT done and theu end up having a manly, square shaped body after words.
