As a plastic surgeon in practice for 26 years(doing lipo since it was introduced to this country in the early 80's),I can only reiterate what has already been said.Find a surgeon who is experienced in liposuction,not any MD or DO who took a weekend course,and now has a certificate and is an expert.This holds true for any procedure. I recently saw an ad for a weekend course in breast augmentation,being taught by a "cosmetic gynecologist".We even have dermatologists performing breast augmentations here in Houston!

It's important to choose a surgeon who is skilled in liposuction procedures.There can be complications with any procedures and not all doctors know how to avoid them ,or how to treat them when they occur.

you have what appears to be a condition known as tuberous breasts. These are breasts that have a smaller diameter base than the average breast in our elongation with large areola. A breast lift requires broadening the base of the breast as well as removing skin and reducing the aereolar size

this is one reason that I don't recommend the procedure in the summertime,because it's difficult to avoid sun exposure,which compromises the result.Also,you will need to use hydroquinone for 3-4 months at a minimum and possibly need 3 or more IPL treatments to improve the overall appearance.
