I called my doctor to get a referral and she never called me back. I went to see a plastic surgeon today in NYC, found a MD on the net. I was told that I have a broken nose, and it is fractured and slight deviated septum. I would need to have a closed reduction? My nose is crooked a bit I can breathe fine. I am scared to have surgery? What is I do nothing and leave my noise alone. I am over 45 not a kid. I am scared to death..about having surgery. Were you in the hospital for a few days. OR did you go home the day you had the surgery?
