You only had a year to sue him, why did you not do that? Did you report him to the AMA and your states malpractice board? There were steps, however I have never seen anything that awful, I have no idea if he hit a blood vessel and you are allergic to the juvederm which may have exacerbated the initial problem. I am so sorry but I would stand with before and after photos infront of his medical offices, I am serious - make him pay you to leave by getting you to a board certified surgeon probably the best place to start is a maxiofacial reconstructionist. Again, why would you show up if they cant be bothered to call you with something so important. You dont even see a red flag with that and are going to allow someone to cut into your face. I cant believe some of the stories Ive read here - most of the people either never saw the doctor or did no research on their qualifications or if they had had any malpractice suits against them, nothing! I find this astounding that people are so lackadaisical about their faces and a procedure that can never be undone. I know two people who have had this LSL done and doctor shopped until they found a really good surgeon who picked up these surgeries to augment their practice. This has been very illuminating to me that people are completely okay with some very unprofessional behavior and then go ahead and let the surgeon they never met cut into them.

Can you imagine having surgery, major surgery on your face with all the facial musculature and nerves and not having pain shots? I wonder how did you ladies think that out patient surgery was going to happen with out some form of pain medication? Its a common complaint but the only reason the surgery is so much cheaper is you are not in a surgical suite where an anesthesiologist is both of those things cost over 3k right there, thats why you are in an office suite having this done. I cant believe that people are allowing doctors to cut their faces open and not checking their credentials first, I can't believe that some people are letting someone they met when they were rolled into the room for the procedure. Its your face what were you thinking. My friend was back and work and was on TV a week later, she met with a surgeon and said no way would I let this guy touch me, met with the other surgeon who was a board certified plastic surgeon not someone who did a weekend seminar - and had great results. Its on the person who is getting this done to get the absolute best person they can, you need to research and meet with these people or any one who is going to be doing this type of procedure - do your homework!

Lifestyle lift wasn't even around 7 years ago was it? I just can't believe anyone wouldn't do a background check on someone who was going to cut their face and change their appearance PERMANENTLY. It strikes me as almost childlike. Why didn't you sue? Why aren't you naming him and putting up photos until he's either forced through his malpractice insurance or out of pocket to fix your face, you can't reverse anything with surgery all you can do is go to a maxio-facial surgeon who specializes in repairing bad surgery. I find it odd your life was ruined but you don't warn people about the surgeon who did this to you, he can't sue you if he ruined your face but might be forced to pay for his mistake and you can go to someone professional. I am sorry you feel your life is ruined but you have options to work through this one way or another and reclaim you life.

This is major surgery, if you want to get this fixed go stand outside the medical office with a sign and tell them you will be back until they pay a board certified surgeon to fix your face. A friend of mine had this, it took 10 years off her face and neck what smelled was the liposuction which you didnt mention and was an option. You need to talk to the doctor, check his credentials and make sure he is board certified. Do not let anyone cut into your face neck or eyes without doing this, it's common sense as an adult to check out who is going to be doing surgery and yes its major surgery done in an outpatient setting - but like other major purchase you need to do your homework. Since the before photos are blurry it's hard to see what you really went in for in the first place but individuals heal differently and swelling goes down scarring and keloids heal differently - but my friend paid 4000 and was back to work in two weeks and was making television appearances and looked fabulous. Check out your surgeon first.
