Colorado, unfortunately the puffy lumps you describe are fat pad herniations from weakening of your obicularis muscle. Its another fun side effect. Once the muscles and nerves get stronger it should all come back together but Ive been a year so far, and its a very slow recovery. See the review by "MeltyFace" for the most comments from people with Botox issues. Best to you.

I recently had the same thing happen with 30 units of Botox injected into my frown lines, upper forehead and outer brows. The doctor says it is "impossible" for the fat pads to be herniated from where he injected and the amount, even if it all migrated to wrong place,. He says I'm the "worst" he has seen and this must just be an inflammatory reaction (ie, my fault). I'm glad to read Im not going crazy when I see these bulgy rims under my eyelids (like I've been crying) and puffy bags forming underneath,. There's also this creepy hollowness along the outer sides of my eyes - like where the fat used to cover. 1 month down, not much change, other than the initial red, painful throbbing eyeballs have dissipated a bit, thank God for that. Beth, please keep us posted on your progress. I'm already dealing with a juvederm screw up, that Im hoping did not mess my lower face up for good, I would hate to think these eye changes are permanent in any way too.
Has it improved? The filler was lower in my cheeks but yet has enhanced the hollows under my eyes and, pushes up when I smile into horrible crepey wrinkles at ends of my tear troughs. Its been 4 months and counting... I just have found different ways to smile. :-(
I just had the same thing happen to me last week. The kicker was I never got the lift I went in for. Just under eye bulges. They are trying to tell me it's a virus, or an eye infection, not related to botox, and it's "impossible" for the botox to migrate from the where they injected. But I can feel a complete hollow from where the fat pad used to be..its so crepey! And my eyes look smaller because the lid is pulled up from where it used to lay. I swear I've had the worst luck this year with injectibles and Philadelphia surgeons. I'm banking on having to wear glasses for the next 4 months. Please keep us posted how yours is coming along. 6 months seems to be a long time for it to still be present.
Oh, and not to mention the dings and divets in my face from either not enough filler in the right places or the filler not blending correctly. So I got that going for me now too, along with the broken capillaries from where I was injected. Fun stuff.
