I still haven't a clear understanding if the dark area is just the small area where the Latisse is placed or does it somehow spread to encompass a much larger area. I sent that question much earlier to "Ask a doctor", but have not had a response I can locate.

I have the same question....I wondered if the darkening would cover the entire upper lid;or, would the darkening be directly above the lash line where product is applied? Do not put on lower lid....
