Lidia, I had mine done in Washington state by a doctor who is now being looked for. Mine lasted for about a year.. it was the bomb while it lasted.

I will have to get mine done again and this time I'm going to Dr. Matlock.

I just wanted to update that my surgery was a complete success. The best $8000 I ever spent. My sex life is so much better. Any of you that are thinking about having this surgery please do it, do it for yourself. My guy always wants to do it now I have to turn him down sometimes lol... I love it. Karen Hamilton in Bellevue, Washington (state) did mine. She is great, patient and caring. I recommend her if you're on the west coast. Good luck!

My 6 weeks was up last weekend and my doctor told me the stitches would dissolve. I can't make it back down there until 10/9/09 for my 6 week check up though but I have a little confession to make I me and my guy had sex and boy let me tell you I thought I was ready but I wasn't, we had to use alot of lube. It was enjoyable for him not so for me. Afterwards he told me that I had never been that tight and if I was in that much pain we should wait another 2 or 3 weeks before having sex again, and I'm thinking more like 2 or 3 months. Initially I'm glad I had this surgery but I'm thinking my body needs a little more than 6 weeks to properly heal :}

have your stitches come out yet.. and did you have some bleeding and discharge afterwards?
