Hello Everyone,
I am so sorry to hear how many continue to suffer from this horrible illness, reaction, side effect whatever you want to call it. I promise you that time will heal you and that you are not alone. Your happiness and joy will return as will your health.

I think it is time to get the word out. There was a reporter from Canada who did a report on the reactions of botox. Contact any media outlet you can find who will listen. Dr. Oz's staff had started to respond to my email however when I told them none of my symptoms were physical and you couldn't see them they were no longer interested. As if my symptoms weren't real because they couldn't be seen or documented in a medical test. Maybe if we all speak out, our voices will be loud and clear!!!

Health and Happiness to All,
Gail
Hi Again!
Although the side effects I suffered from seemed to change over the 2 years I was sick, I mostly had strange anxiety attacks that kept me up all night long, depression, brain fog, muscle twitches, dry mouth, blurry vision, sensitive to cold, the list goes on and on...as does the list of professionals I have seen.

Like you, Susan, I would feel better for a few days then it would return although I will tell you that it seemed that only in looking back that I noticed I was getting better. Every few months or so I would have a really bad episode but those seemed to become more mild and less frequent over time. I tried everything from medications (sleep meds, anti anxiety, anti depression, bi-polar, anti-schizophrenic that I refused to take) to herbal remedies and acupuncture, which helped somewhat.

Time was the only remedy that worked, that and staying off caffeine and keeping my diet as clean as possible.

You will feel better, I promise you that. Hang in there and take care. You are NOT alone as I have found with the many friends I have made along this journey back to health.

Take care,
Gail
Hello Everyone!
I originally posted over 2 years, and wow...haven't checked back for a while. I can say that I am finally free of the "bad days" and symptoms that everyone has described. Now, there is so much good information out there, however still no "cure" or anything to ease the symptoms. The "fine" doctor who responded was incorrect, in that I have had several doctors and my pharmacist agree that it was the botox I suffered from. I encourage you all to report your reactions to the FDA and Allergan. It's time that the word gets out there about this horrible suffering, so that patients and physicians are WELL informed.

Take care and good health to all!

After a full 12 months, I can say I had been feeling better until recently, when it all came back. Not nearly as bad as the beginning but still there. I can only hope that it won't take years longer to feel better. Please report to the FDA so our voices can be heard! There is not adequate warnings for this horrible suffering. Hang in there everyone!
