There are before and after photos at the Dr.'s office but I don't have any. My scars are not gone. But they are better. My skin is just better. Fraxel is not a miracle but it is definitely an improvement.
Dr. Alexander Rivkin... but the Fraxel is done by an RN. She has been doing them for years and is great. There office is moving at the end of March to a new location. You can google them. Westside Aesthetics. Good Luck.
If the procedure was "virtually painless after numbing cream" and you were "only red for three days" you most certainly did not have a very high setting. I've had 7 Fraxels over the last 4 years and have it at the highest setting. I find it to be a VERY painful procedure after 1 hour of numbing cream AND a vicadin. After the initial 5 procedures I have it once a year as a maintenance. My skin is not perfect now but it is MUCH better and always looks amazing about 2 months after the procedure when the new collagen has formed. I am usually very swollen for a couple of days and I look sun burned for about 5 to 7 days. And another week or 2 of looking very tanned after that. I need to stay out of the sun for about 2 months or I get weird pigmentation. I hate the pain but I swear by the results.
