I bruise really bad each time I get either radiesse or juvederm. This time i'm on my 12th day and the bruising is just about gone. I use arnica (3x strength) from whole foods and it helps a lot. I've tried to go without it and it takes twice as long as I bruise really bad.I have never worn cover up makeup, and got a few different kinds. Benefit "erase" works great but i feel like all of them are noticable in the sunlight. Or maybe I don't really know how to use makeup.:o)

Hi. I had fraxel repair done too about a month ago and my doctor told me to use Neutrogena and Aveena since they are the most natural and won't irritate your skin. I'm still using the creme they gave me with the kit for nights or when i'm not going out. I tried putting some other makeup on and my skin turned a weird color. I think my skin looks best without anything except i have to have a moisturizer. The Neutrogena seems to work good. I needed something for under my eyes and he told me not to use my Benefit erase so i got Neutrogena for that too, and it seems to look ok. I'm just wondering when these circles still under my eyes will go away but i see my doctor tomorrow for a one month followup. Oh i just noticed you posted this nov 9th.
I just had laser done on top of juvederm, botox, and radiesse. My doctor said that the laser is on the two top layers and the fillers are underneath, and aren't affected. I was worried that all the money I had spent on the fillers would go down the drain with the laser.:o( Almost 2 weeks after laser i see no difference with the fillers, they still appear the same and so far the laser has given me very good results and I'm expecting it to be even better as time goes on and the collagen is being made. I think it's important to have a doctor who has experience in all aspects of the fillers and laser. I lucked out :o)
Sorry this happened. I just had my naso folds done too a few weeks ago and my doctor used Radiesse and from what i understand Botox freezes the muscles and that is not an area where you want that result. She should have used either juvederm or radiesse (I think). I would be angry about this but at least the botox will dissolve eventually but I would definitely read about which fillers are used in which parts of your face and go back there. Good luck.

I feel very lucky i just happened to get a good doctor. I just posted that i get small amounts at a time and we wait for the results before i get the full amount. So far everything has gone well except my eyes bruising and puffy. I still use arnica montana pills and also rub the creme on at night. Somedays i wake up with almost no more brusing or lines and other days its a bit worse. I went to an eye surgeon and after reading all this, i wouldnt have anyone but an eye surgeon do anything. I didnt post the name of my doctor but it is Dr. Myint in Las Vegas. He is very good, takes his time and I don't think would let me go home with bad results. But then again, in general i don't trust doctors but i have faith in this one.
