Hi. Most Facial Plastic Surgeons will agree that your thyroid problems are unrelated to your procedure. The thyroid gland is at another deeper compartment that the liposuction is not able to reach. This is just a coincidence after the procedure. If you have some lumps and bumps, please tell your surgeon. You can get kenalog injections to improve on hypertrophic scaring that can leave these bumps at the incision line.
Do not waste your time and money on this. There is no scientific proof that they last. They only give you the impression on improvement due to the swelling that they do. After the swelling is gone you will go back to square one (typically in a week).
This is a patient that I have tried to contact several times and she does not respond. If she had a revision just from her submental area, it means that the rest of her lift looks well. Obviously you will have more swelling around an area of revision than from the primary surgery just because of the scar tissue. I have an open door policy at my office, so I do not know why this patient does not come in. As you have seen I have many happy patients, but this one does not add up on her complaints and not wanting to respond to us. I just hope that I can help her also.
Not only check on the APBS website, also check the ABFPRS website for board certification on Facial Plastic Surgery. These are 2 entities that board certify a physician for plastic surgery of the face.

I agree with you Chystal. I encourage my patients to look for a second opinion, but they always come back to me to do the procedure.
