One of the most common side effects to Hyaluronidase injections is an allergic reaction. In general, Hyaluronidase purchased from a manufacturer is less prone to causing an allergic reaction than Hyaluronidase purchased at a compounding pharmacy (when the pharmacist prepares the compound at the pharmacy). If it is an allergic reaction, you could resolve the issue by taking Benedryl or a a steroid.
