This is so common. Black will never heal to look black. it will always develop a haze. this is because your skin cells which grow OVER it are not translucent.. but rather they cast their own color which buffers/filters the black ink. You are most likely quite fair skinned and this is just the way it goes. Also the degree of pigment saturation might be weak and the color has broken down prematurely, in which event the technician would re-black the tattoo site.

removal? a tattoo can never be 'un-tattooed'. Some removal or lightening attempts may prove helpful and time will erode the color but it will never be COMPLETELY gone because you simply cannot un-tattto a tattoo.

Yes you can wash your face after cosmetic tattooing. Apply cleanser to damp washcloth and cleanse face avoiding the tattoo. Rinse in same manner; washcloth to avoid splashing tattoo.

Absolutely Ditto! Disclosure..transparancy..sincerity and truthfullness. That's why we call it a cosmetic tattoo, because that's what it is. Even with fading over the years, it is regarded and should be regarded by honorable professionals as 'permanent'.

LiZa here. First understand that all color will fade. Your car, carpet, clothing, etc., anything that has color added to it will fade over time. Not all blacks fade to blue, some fade to green and some to gray. There are many variables to how fast black will fade and one is the amount of saturation of the color. More saturation= slower fading. Now to address the lightening of your eyeliner. There are some doctors who will use a laser on the eyeliner, but not many that I know of. I would suggest you contact the guru of salt water removal, Marjorie Grimm and ask her if anyone in your area has been trained by her. If someone could reduce the outside perimeter of your eyeliner enough you would probably be happy with the eyelner base. It appears the size and shape of it is what's giving your eyes a 'too-small' appearance. You can find Marjorie's contact information on the Society of Permanent Cosmetic Professionals website. The SPCP is a member supported non profit organization. She is located in CA.

Hmmm..I am hoping they were not supposed to be 'black'. Black brows do not generally look good. But if you were expecting a dark brown and have red what that says to me is that you are probably seeing erythema (abnormal redness of the skin due to inflammation. The techncian may have missed the proper depth or over worked the skin either of which would result in a lack of pigment deposit. Sometimes if the target color of a brow is light blonde the site may appear a little red in the beginning, but if the target color was indeed a dark brown you should not be seeing red this far (7+ days) out.
