I had smartLipo done on my abdomen and my doctor had me wear the compression garmet for 2 weeks after surgery. It is a tad bit uncomfortable when i slept with it on at night due to dleeping on my belly. But I had my sx on a tuesday and that Friday I was in Disney world walking around the park with my daughter without any problems. I had the compression garment on and it actually felt better with it on. I defintley recommend wearing the garment. It helps keep everything snug and tight. It will help you heal faster. Good Luck!

I agree with trying velasmooth treatments. The doctor i went to includes 4 treatments with the smartlipo. I know his office charges around $200 per treatment if you have it done without surgery.

Whats the PAL lipo? Who was your Dr?

I did talk about all the risks with my doctor and he was very honest about all the possible risks. He said there is always a chance, but that is why mulitple areas are not done at the same time. There are always limits to how much local anesthea can be used at any given time.
