This type of pain had been described in some patients. As far as I know, about 10. You must have your physician exam you to be sure there is nothing else going on. My understanding is that it can last a couple weeks.

If it is an allergy, it is not to the laser but to the topicals placed during healing. Aquaphor can do this.

I have seen nothing in the literature or at conferences about any correlation between fat loss and CO2 laser. Fat grafting is a great way to improve loss of volume.

The fat that is treated with Zeltiq is generally about 22% permanently reduced (gone). The remaining fat cells can get bigger if you gain weight. It is similar to lipo in that aspect.

It looks like this is Light therapy. There is no harm in using it immediately after the procedure. We use gentlewaves after the re:pair and seem to see a faster recovery but that's hard to quantify. It might not help, but won't hurt either.
