Anytime your skin is turning red, then you need a prescription cortisone lotion or cream to calm it down so you can get the benefit of the chem peels without all the inflammation and downtime. This is why having your doc do the peels is so important. If no doc, then get otc hydrocortisone cream and use 3-4 times a day for a couple of days at least and avoid too much retinal creams until red is gone. Always use sunscreens and moisturizers as well. Sometimes we need to use a prescription cortisone cream or even prednisone pills to help the redness go away faster so that dark spot don't develop as a result of too much irritation to the skin. Sincerely,

lip implants are an option that is probably good for you since they are permanent and easy to put in or take out. cost is roughly 1500-2000 per lip and done under local. sincerely, dr hansen

bruising from juvederm can last as long as 2 weeks. Don't worry, all bruising resolves with time. Use arnica gel on it 3 times a day to help it go faster.

The redness will go away faster if you use the over the counter 1% hydrocortisone twice a day. The sooner the redness goes, the less chance of hyperpigmentation developing. Also use a bleaching cream every other night to prevent the pigmentation problem and see your doc. Sincerely, David Hansen,MD
