I have had a Lifestyle Lift and I really don't think that I would do it again. The results at first were good, but I think that it might have been from the swelling. What they don't tell you in the consultation is that they give you about 10 to 12 shots all in the face to deaden it before they start cutting on you and they cannot give you a topical anesthetic so that the shots don't hurt. They just get you in the chair and it is like a suprise attack of all these shots in your face really fast. It really hurt..............and then the after care of it was exhausting. You have to spend nearly every hour that you are awake taking care of it. I had my upper and lower eye lids done at the same time and also had the sagging skin under my chin "tacked up" while I was at it. I think that it wound up costing me about $7000. Can't remember exactly because it has been a couple of years ago and they quoted a seperate price for each thing done. My ears are pulled closer to my face as a result and it is very hard to wear earrings and forget trying to sleep in earrings.................I also have scars all along my face in front of my ears and on the back of my neck. I just really wish that I had tried going the dermatologist route first.

I have just had Juvederm under my eyes and I am very disappointed with it. It looks like I have big lumps under both eyes and it has been over 3 weeks and the bruising is still not completely gone. I was not sure that I wanted to still go through with the juvederm after reading about different people's experiences with it. My doctor talked me into it saying that if I did not like the way that it looked she would reverse it for me by injecting the Hyaluronidase. I hate the way that I look now and I have been telling her that I would like to have it reversed like she had promised and she is telling me that she cannot find the product to do it with and that she had never done it before. The more I think about it the madder I get. It is just not right the way that she has done. She should not have promised something that she could not do, especially when I might not have done it in the first place if she had not made this promise to me and I would not hate the way that I look now.
It has been 2 weeks since I got juvederm under my eyes and I hate the way that I look. I have lumps under both eyes, but one is worse than the other one. I was told that the bruising would be minimal and only last about a week. It has been 2 weeks and I still have purple under my eyes. For the money that I spent, the pain that I endured and the embarrassment of being bruised for now over 2 weeks, I wish that I had never done it. I guess that I will take it as a life lesson to not inject stuff into my face.
