My incision has healed but I am not at all happy with the way it looks. It has some thick areas, my abdomen still protrudes some and the scar is way too high up on my hips. Hope things get better for you too. At least I am feeling back to normal. Hope you will too!
My belly button actually looks pretty good, which I am thankful for because it's pretty much the only great thing I've had so far. The open wound on my stomach is starting to heal finally, but its taking a long time. I asked my DR about my stomach protruding and he said that it was just from the swelling. I guess we will see. I can only hope that it is the only reason.
Wow, you are looking amazing!
It is very frustrating isn't it? The Dr's don't seemed concerned, sure BUT they aren't the ones who forked out all the money or the ones who are having to deal with the results if we don't like them either. Tomorrow I am 4 weeks post-op and I have a Dr appt, I have a lot of questions for him. I will keep ya posted.. it sounds like the exact same thing. Hopefully he has some good news, because I'm about ready to break. I wonder why your drains were in so long.. My left one came out in 3 days, the other in 7... and yes Keflex.. sucks. It made me very nauseous.
I'd love to know the answer to this as well. My right side is much higher than my left as well .. I think I might just be super swollen yet.. but anyway I ended up with and infection and my stitches busting and have a huge "hole" at the bottom of my incision and it looks awful and I can't imagine it will heal very pretty. I would love to get the scar revised but not if its the same recovery and pain. However at least if I opt to do so, my surgeon will do it free of charge.
