Patsy, that was for you--it was a response to your post that a doc does 5-6 face lifts in a day, and I was mentioning that the good face lift docs I know only do one in a day. I know there's a fabulous facial surgeon in Dallas: David Genecov. he does facial repair surgery on kids with terrible deformities. Heaven knows if he can fix those things his face lifts are fabulous. I actually watched him do one three years ago in his OR.

Dear Miss Elaine, I am not "blaming the victim", I am saying that we, unfortunately, live in a world where caveat emptor, buyer beware, is essential. We USED TO BE protected from the unqualified doing cosmetic procedures because they simply were not allowed to have operating room time, ie, the hospitals would give OR time for a face lift only to a plastic surgeon qualified to perform a face lift. But THEN docs built their own operating rooms in their offices, and nobody could tell them what they could not do. The gloves were off and with it, the protection we deserve. It's an unfortunate truth that ANY MD can "legally" perform cosmetic surgery. Isn't right, isn't good, but it's true. I do not understand how the medical establishment allows these things either. And no, I would NEVER market one of these kinds of practices. We work with only board certified physicians in their specialties, which would be plastic surgery, dentistry and dermatology. We do not work with those who do procedures which they are not educated to perform. I will not be part of the problem. Having said this, there ARE people who report having a good experience with the company discussed here. And, conversely, there are numerous lawsuits. Where it will all end up is anybody's guess, but again, perform due diligence. Ask around before parting with your money and risking your health and appearance.

Patsy, it's been my experience in working with board certified plastic surgeons that those doing face lifts tend to do only one a day, certainly not 6 a day. And for anyone with an unsatisfactory result from a practice, why in God's name would you go back to the same people and have them work on you again? That completely baffles me. If you took your car into a repair shop and they did a poor job, would you go back to them? most people would not. If you took your child to a pediatrician who proved him/herself to be incompetent would you take your child back to that pediatrician? I doubt it. You deserve the same care for yourself. Just my opinion. Anne
I bought one from a client in Boca (plastic surgeon and medical aesthetic center) and accidentally threw out the "free brush head" offer. I called them and they immediately replaced it for me, free. Not because they know me, because they don't. GREAT customer service! Call them about your non-working Clarisonic, i am sure they will help you.
LOVE my Clarisonic. After I use it, I just splash a little bit of hydrogen peroxide on the brush head and replace it on the charger. Seems to stay cleaner this way. I do rinse the brush head before using again. Hydrogen peroxide is cheap (like 99c a bottle) and does a great job. I haven't noticed having to replace the brush head any more often than they say to. I do notice that my skin is more luminous, and I'm 55. LOVE IT. Bought them for my daughters who are 17 and 29 too.
