Hi Nis, I am 8 weeks post Fraxel Repair today and I'm very glad I had the procedure done. I used a topical steroid cream for the redness and itching. I had my hands done also and the itching was unbearable, but only last 2 days. I was about a week post repair when the itching started. During week 2 I would get random spots that would itch but not long lasting. I also found Aveeno Ultra Foaming Face Cleanser very helpful during this time. I'm sure you've seen all the posts about Skin Medica TNS Skin Recovery Complex and Neocutis. I ordered the Skin Medica TNS Recovery Complex and TNS Ceramide Treatment Cream and I wish I had known about them earlier on in the recovery process. I found the best price at www.101Cosmetics.com. I hadn't heard about the Neocutis but that sounds very promising as well. If you do decide to get the TNS Recovery, be forewarned it has a very strong odor, but not long lasting. Best of luck to you. I'm not sure about alcohol use after procedure. But I'm sure it will be fine by the time you go on vacation
