It's been six days since my procedure and tomorrow the splint comes off. I am very nervous yet thrilled. Swelling has definitely gone down but I feel a lot of discomfort in my mouth with sores. Sometimes I just feel that I am not draining properly and my lymph nodes are swollen. Sound familiar?

thanks! i swelled up immensely my 2nd day after surgery and took Benedryl which has really helped. I am just really congested that my ears and gums hurt as well.

Does anything besides ice packs help the swelling go down????

about to get my procedure done this Friday. Just hoping someone could show me their picture and tell me the doctor if it is in Chicago. Thanks.

I am considering 3 surgeons here in Chicago. I have consultations set up for two but the third I am debating on because the consultation is an additional fee that I do not want.
