I personally have not had any issues with smell or grossness I brush and floss after each and every meal or snack or drink. I soak my aligners in either effecdent or mouthwash. I have had no bad breath and my aligners are still clear after two weeks.

Actually yes it was the only orthodontist that I went to. Well for me the shaving was necessary in order for the invisalign to push my teeth back. I didnt have any shaving done til tray #3 and I will have shaving done again before tray #5 and then the last time before tray #8. So it depends on your teeth. So you can just ask the orthodontist if you will need shaving.

from what ive heard there are no additional costs for increased length of treatment
