My husband is in his late 40's. He started thinning a few years ago. He tried Rogaine it helped a little but not enough. He started using nulockz hair restoration kit and he is growing hair. His crown and frontal area are about an inch long after about 2 months (in places he wasn't seeing hair). I thought he used some of that toppik stuff because his head doesn't look as shiny, but he said it's been the product he's been using. I was impressed. It's 49 bucks for the kit, but well worth it to him. The cleanser and conditioner makes his head tingle and is growing in thicker, and the other combination that he applies on altering nights seem to be wakening up sumthin there:)

I agree, it is supposed to turn brownish black. That happened to me too. Ebay has over 1,000 positive reviews on it and that's what I usually go by since we don't know who is advertising or not on forums, it can be tricky!
