My procedure was in Little Falls. I did not have a lot of pain during the procedure. Recovery about 10 days. Happy with my face. Was not happy with my neck afer a few weeks. I paid a second fee to have my paltysmal bands removed. Scar with pleats at each end result. Went to another plastic surgeon who found about three things done incorrectly to my neck. It will not cost me $4600 to repair. LSL will repair the pleats but only after I sign a release, I don't feel comfortable signing. If they did this to me without a release, what will happen if I hold them harmless.

I am Bergen. I wrote that I had a prcedure done in '08 in NJ. Happy with facelift. Neck started to break-down quickly. I told DR. I was disapointed with my neck. He said I took a lot of fat out of your neck, if I knew that was going to happen I would have removed your platsymal bands. He said no problem he could remove them. Another procedure later he removed the bands. I was charged for this procedure that should have been done during the first procedure. I was told there would be a scare, there was it was not too bad. However, this surgery left pleats of skin on either side of the scare. He would fix this. He said, I think I know how I am going to fix this. This made he uneasy. I went for the procedure & was handed a release form that I would not sue for past, present or future procedures. They refused to conduct surgery without my signature. I left. I paid $5600 for LSL and $600 for band removal. Now I went to plastic surgeon to have pleats repaired from band removal. New surgeon said that wasnot only problem, There was a indentation under my chin, too much skin removed & cut out. Also, I will need lipo to remove fat in my jawl area to make neck look better. I will now have a third procedure at a cost of about $5,000. My experience during initial procedure was not so painful. I did get a nasty infection about three weeks thereafter. Worsepain from the infection them from the procedure. Had to take 3 percriptions before infection recovery.

Had LSL done in Oct '08. Satisfied with my face, but neck brokedown quickly. Mentioned neck to Dr. who said he took a lot of fat from my neck, the problem was my phatsymal bands. If he would have thought that would have happened he would have removed them at the time of the Lift. (why didn't he know they should have been removed? Was I suppose to know?) He scheduled another surgery, and charged me for it. Said he would remove bands. The result was a scar under my chin (I was told to expect this) but not the two "pleats" of skin that are on each side of the scar. The band procedure was done in Feb. '09, I was told to be patient give the DR. 4 to 6 weeks and all would be well. Then again told 4 to 6 weeks waited. Then I was told it takes a year. Can't wait. Went to another plastic surgeon. He said he can't figure out what LSL did to my neck. Cut out to much skin under chin; I have an indentation. Did not make the cut wide enough. Guess what- I still have the phatsymal bands. Fat not removed properly from the jawl line. It will cost $4,600 ++ to correct. LSL said they would correct the "pleat" problem. When I went to have the procedure done I was given a form to sign that I would not sue for past, present or future procedures. Did not ask me to sign this for previous procedures.I refused to sign; they would not conduct procedure without my signature. I walked out.
