I was diagnosed with Blepharitus and was treated for it withrestasis, gel and drops. When it didn't get better I was seen by a surgical Opthamologist in my eye Drs. practice who said I had an optical neuralgia so she gave me the option of surgery..very risky cutting a nerve, or Botox since my regular regimen wasn't responding. It worked beautifully. I also have been treate for migraines by a Neurologist before this and it was great. Now I went back to the Opthamologist and she said she makes no money off the injections but wanted me to follow up with 2 neurologist's who specilaize in movemnet disorders(my eye spasms) and both said I was okay for injections to go back a Neorolgist who specilaizes in migraines. So I have spent a great deal of money being sent from one specialist to another. I have had all tests asked to take to make sure I am okay and it isn't a whole body thing. I am just amazed how even with all these great Drs. who have approved me for medical use of Botox but send me to soeone other than them. I could pay whatever it is to just get the shots. At this point I should just go in wher Botox is used and keep it under cosmetic. If it is about insurance covering it it is working against me. Bewitched, bothered, no Botox but clearly
knowing Botox helps me. I am seeing a dermatologist and see what they say about it.
This is soooo crazy already.. Twice it has been administered twice it has given great results.
