It only cost me $100 because my insurance covered my procedure because I had back problems and hernia so the whole procedure was covered.

I had my tummy tuck on 11/6/08 and this past Friday 1/16/09 was the first day I could actually run on the treadmill for about 1 mile at 5 mph and not have pain...a little discomfort but I am going slow. I tried elliptical at 4 weeks and I thought I honestly broke a rib I was in so much pain for about 2 days after.. I am finally on my way back to my fitness routine but I am still going slow...I walk more than anything else and am slowly adding elliptical and running and strength training is very, very light. This recovery is much more difficult than I ever could have imagined. For those who don't people who have the procedure but do not do any type of exercise except perhaps walking .. the recovery to normal activity is 6 wks or less... for those who are very active physically daily...it is frankly Hell...I did not think I would ever be able to work out again but after Friday and having run finally for at least one mile I feel I am on my way back..slowly but surely.
