I'm right there with you. I had 240 units of botox for CD on August 13th. Day 6 I started getting nausea and weakness. As the days progressed to tonite..day 11, I have called friends in case I don't make it thru the nite. I don't know when it will pass because it has not fully manifested in my neck as yet. It takes a full 3 weeks for maximum benefit. The anxiety and panic attacks are the worst and my throat and mouth are like an inferno. I was ok on 180 units but the flu like symptoms, trouble swallowing, can't breathe, insomnia--worst nightmare ever. I hope you got thru this ok.
I've had severe nausea, trouble swallowing, flulike symptoms, insomnia..that's why I'm up writing this so I don't freak out all together. All my friends are asleep. I'm actually afraid too..majorly sucks..I'm usually the most positive person around but there's only so many lows a person can hit..I'm sure I'll be ok..just don't know when. I'm into day 11 and the side effects began at day 6. I didn't have side effects till I went over 180 units. Thanks.
I had 240 units of botox for cervical dystonia and not only have had severe insomnia, horrific flu like symptoms, racing heart and palpitations, anxiety, but trouble swallowing and breathing. Very scary have medical conditions and side effects from botox. Anyone else have trouble swallowing? Thanks.
Most people I know have had good results with botox. I have either built up an immunity or I just metabolize the botox out of my system  quickly.  My botox (full strength) lasts only 7 weeks and then I need to have more injected....such a waste of money for so little time.
I hear ya.  I'm in month 4 of upper and lower surgery.  My left eye is still open 3 millimeters.  I recently had a tasorophy (sic) to correct the droop in my lower left lid and to enable my left eye to close a bit more. I've been plagued with dry corneas, sensitivity to light and sun and having to sleep with ointment in my eyes every night.  The vision in my left eye is blurred all the time and my quality of life is greatly diminished.

I thought it would be so simple, just a conservative removal of barely hanging loose skin on the upper lid and making my eyes more symetrical...we'll see how this last surgery goes, because my left eye HURTS all the time.

At this point, I'd trade my slightly fleshy top lid for the pain and suffering I've endured any day.
