The Big 3 -- DYA.
Posted to So Far So Good on 14 Mar 2009
Had my 4th and final treatment yesterday. Glad I was medicated. Swelling and redness much more prevalent than other treatments but that is to be expected. So far, I am very pleased with the overall results. I go back for a complimentary facial in 6 weeks and another in 3 months. At that time, we will take the "after" photos. I can tell a big difference by comparing my face now to my driver's license photo taken 3 years ago. At this point in time, I would recommend this treatment but stress to have it performed by someone who has been properly trained. Reading some of the other posts cause me to wonder just how much training some of the people performing some of these treatments have had.

I had my 3rd treatment 1-1/2 weeks ago (had to cancel my Jan appointment due to work commitments). Pain was more intense -- I will definiteley be doing the pain pill for my 4th and final treatment. Swelling and redness were more prevalent and lasted longer. Flaking and breakouts started about 5 days after treatment. Overall, the breakouts are the only thing relating to the treatments which I can complain about. Now for the good news. Although it has been only 4 months since my first treatment, I can see a difference in my skin. My pores appear smaller, skin tone has evened out -- brown spots lighter, "jaws" appear to have tightened, the lines on either side of my mouth and nose aren't as deep and the dark circles under my eyes are not as promenent. My husband made a comment about 2 weeks ago that he could see a difference. I am starting to be excited to see and compare my after and before photos -- bummer that I will have to wait until abut 3 months after my last treatment.

Had the 2nd treatment 1-1/2 weeks ago. Since it was a little more intense than the first treatment the swelling seemed to last longer and the flaking started sooner. Pain during the treatment wasn't unbearable. The only drawback I have experienced so far is I have broken out around my mouth and chin as if I am 15 years old. I was told this might happen. I thought since I had never ever had problems with break-outs in my entire life that this wouldn't be one of my side effects -- wrong! Right now I can honestly say I don't see any difference in my skin. I was told it might take up to 6 months so I will try to be patient. My 3rd treatment is in 3 weeks. I have decided I will try that one without a pain pill also.
