hi, i put in for abdominoplasty 4 years ago it was refused, i have since had a little boy and do not want n e more kids. my stomach has been in this state since i was 19 and only 4 years ago i had the guts to go to the docs and tell her how i felt about my body and had done for 6 years.I have seen a mental health nurse and most of the time i was telling her how the way my stomach looks and feels has and still is driving me mad. I have a large divarication of my rectus abdominal muscle and a large apron along with very bad stretch marks and it is difficult for me each day and i am experiencing significant psycological distress from my situation. I i have lost 3 stone 7lbs and now im at a healthy weight of 10,10lbs my bmi is under 25 and i have a doctor who is helping me but i want to know what my chances are on nhs?? i have not had a the go ahead yet and still waithing for an answer can n e 1 help me?
