Ouch Betty! I did NOT get anything done on the double chin :) My reasoning behind this was to remove all the fat deposits on my waist so that I can start working out again, and the fat that I do burn now will be from other non-troublesome areas. They aren't scars. They are marks from the compression garmet that's all. The pads taped to me are maxi-pads that the doctor used to cover the port holes until the drainage is done. They were off within 24 hours. You have a lot of drainage the first 24 hours. It looks like blood but it's really mostly the lidacaine with a red tint from the blood in the body. It looks alot worse than it is.
I am very anxious about the results. It has been a week now and although I can tell a huge difference, I can't wait for the final result. I understand that it takes 1-2 months for the final results to kick in. I had a couple pictures that didn't save for some reason. One was really nice; a picture of the doctor holding the laser wand with the tip lit. It looked like something right out of Harry Potter. I will take some pictures this weekend being the one week part and let everyone see how it's going. Anthony

Where are you getting this information about the fat particles? I searched through a handful of pages on Google and couldn't find anything about it. Mich34 - How much was taken out, do you know? My procedure was pretty extreme. I had 3000cc taken out, at least 2000cc of that was pure fat. I had extreme love handles and a big ol' pooch belly. I noticed a difference immediately but I am not even on week one yet. Throw some pictures up of your before and progression. It helps yourself to judge your results.
Do you have any pictures of before and after that you can share with us?
How are your results now? If you aren't happy with them I would raise a ruckus and make sure you get your money back, or if your willing to trust the Dr., get another procedure for free. Throw up some pics for us to help out.
