No, I didn't use the Restasis. There are no generic versions of this drug and I was told it would take 6 months for me to see the difference. I opted to wait it out. My opthomotrist did put in punctal plugs, which close the lower tear duct so tears stay in the eye. They did help me and were equal to the cost of two months of Restasis. I wish you well.

Yes! They are almost normal, and it has been 3 1/2 months. My problems had to be from the Dysport. I had contacted the provider/physician who did my treatment and he agreed it must be the drug. He anticipated that as the Dysport wore off my eyes would recover and I'm so relieved to say that has been the case (thus far). Have you noticed any improvement? As a side note both Dysport and Botox do not last more than 2 1/2 to 3 months for me. I think my body processes this stuff kind of fast compared to other people. Best wishes!

I am so glad I googled if Dysport causes dry eyes. For a couple years I have had dry eyes but NEVER this severe. Now I have to use eye drops in the middle of the night because I wake up due to discomfort and I am using an eye ointment before bed. My eye sight is horrible and blurry in the mornings and tends to become clearer as I add eye drops. Plus it makes my eyes look a bit "under the influence"...great beauty product! I have been to an eye doctor who wanted me to use Restasis (sp?)which is $245 with my insurance paying a little (!) This has become a serious proplem for me. So thank you, everyone, who has shared their Dysport propblems - you have answered more questions than than the Dysport provider or the eye doctor.
