Thank you GGH! Were the touchups decided to be done by your doc or by you?! @ 8529anon Hang in there!! It will get better. I was at the same thinking as you that it wasn't going to be as bad as it was and I was wrong. I puked, almost fainted and was in lots of pain!! The people who have such fast recoveries must get small areas done. I went back to work after 4 days but was in some sort of pain for about 2 full weeks. Not bad enough to take pain meds but I took tylenol probably daily. The draining stopped quickly, the next day I think but the swelling and numbness are still there and I am 2 weeks shy of my 3 month mark. My stomach is better than what it was but for all the pain I went through, I wish I had just bit the bullet and done a tuck.

Did you have to pay for the touchups or did your doctor think it was necessary and fixed it himself?!?

I am on week 7 and this is the first day I went without my spanx. I am still swollen and have lots of hardness/numbness. I see a big difference but I can tell that I won't see the full results until 3-6 months like the doc said. We all gots to hang in there and be patient, patients I guess!?! I am jealous of all you who saw immediate results tho!! :)
