    The problem I am having now is non-healing (see photos) repeated exudate and slough despite cleaning with saline, tried silverdine and Santyl. Getting desperate.

    Try Kelocote spray or gel. It's designed for keloids and hypertrophic scars. Depending on the size you buy it's between $40 and $90 online. Try that before you spring for scar revision. I have keloids and hypertrophic from a previous surgery and I've had some success coupled with scar revision work.
