Congrats on your surgery, sounds like you are doing great - I was still bent over at day 13 - and my PS told me not to try an force myself to stand straight - your body will do it on its own. I know all doctors are different so i'd check with your doctor on that. Good luck and patience is the key.

Dr Fox felt that doing both procedures at the same time was too much trauma on the body (I'm in good health & not overweight). He felt I'd have better results getting the lipo and healing and then doing the TT. Also, my initial consultation we planned on doing an extended incision for the TT and after having the lipo I did not end up needing the extended incision which I was very happy about.

few more things - take stool softner before and after surgery - so so so helpfull! Thats the best advice I got - and the binder you are given is so umcomfortable - once you are able - a body suit style compression garment is much more comfortable (like one that would be used after lipo) it helped me fit in my jeans faster also.

Good luck with your surgery. I had my Tummy Tuck June 2nd - Best thing I have ever done for myself. Few tips that helped me a lot - If you have a recliner plan to sleep in it for at least the first week - If you dont have one then plenty of pillows to prop you up but I tried that after a few days and it was to painfull to get up after laying down. You will most likely need help with the little ones for 2 weeks. even though you start to feel a lot better after the first week you cant be up and about for too long - your back gets really sore. I went back to work on day 13 which was tuff but doable. The first couple days keep up with the pain meds, dont wait until your in pain to take them. Fresh pineapple is great for healing - eat lots of it! Congrats.
