I started going grey when I was 18 and after a short bout with henna dyes in my 30s, I ditched it. I am 53 and I regularly get compliments about my salt-and-pepper (more salt than pepper lately) from men and women alike. Women want to know who my hair dresser is; men just want to compliment. I would never dye!

Gray all the way. Like my mom before me, I began graying (more silver) in my 20s. I remember it always being a joke as to what color her hair might be next. I determined to live with what God gave me. I keep it cut funky and spiky and now that I am in my 50s and am mostly silver, I get nothing but compliments. I have men and women comment on my hair on a regular basis. Women usually ask me who my hair dresser is... My husband thinks it's telling of what people really think of over-dyed hair. Not to say that having the right make-up and clothes doesn't help, but my feeling about age is this: I am not dead! I also don't think much of anti-aging surgery, formulas, etc. I am glad to have made it this far. I have earned every wrinkle and gray hair. I am not a frivolous, foolish 30-year-old, neither do I want to look like one.
