Well I experienced something similiar. My friends kept telling me that all I had to do was work out as my shape was otherwise fine. They thought that dedicated months of situps would resolve the issue as they understood that my weight was in a healthy range. They did not understand that the loose skin was not going to contract and felt that I have simply not tried hard enough or done the right exercises. I felt a little upset because I was sharing this with them for support. At the end of the day what matters is your happiness though. Good luck.

Oh god. I can't imagine. Mines has come out quite well- the lack of sleep and discomfort of it all were my only complaints past day 5 and up to about a week ago. I feel so sorry for you but my scar isn't looking great either and I've probably gained like 10 pounds- afraid to get on the scale. I had a Pilonidal (tailbone) Cyst on two occasions, the most painful thing ever so I sympathize. You're lucky that you are numb and hopefully this will resove itself or will be resolved soon. I wish you the best. I would be updating my review but for certain issues I haven't yet. I'll let you gals know when I do. Hope things turn out better and like you say at least you are at close distance to you surgeon. Keep your head up as it will all eventually be over and it will be nothing but a bad memory.

Oh, no I actually don't believe in taking pills for many things. I pretty much take the pain unless its excruciating or I its a special occasion and I need to be A+. Therefore, taking a pill didn't even occur to me. I just accepted the lack of sleep and as my body recovered and the discomfort decreased it picked up. I slept six hours last night.

I would say that I was emotional for about a week. Once recovery continously improved and I began sleeping for 5+ hours a night I felt much more uplifted. I've been quite happy this week though its a process. Good luck!
