I've had a good response with Sculptra. I had it first done three months ago and again six weeks ago under the eye. My practitioner is from the UK, where Sculptra has been used for many years (known as New Fill there) and not just in AIDS patients. You don't have to have AIDS for this product to work. The product is meant to promote your natural collagen building process to fill sunken in areas. The key is getting an experience person to administer the product. Mine has been doing it for 10 years. She is strict about being conservative and going right down the bone. And of course massaging like crazy afterwards is critical. I love the results. I look like I'm 21 (I'm 31). In fact a group of college boys actually THOUGHT I was 21. I had lost a lot of weight and ended up with eye hollows, which is why I got Sculptra.
It seems like a lot of people are having similar problems. I had Juvi three weeks ago injected in the tops of my cheeks NOT in the tear trough or under the eyes. But guess what? It migrated TO my tear trough and to the outer part of my cheekbone where it's just sitting. In some lights I look completely normal, just a little puffy but in low light and really harsh light ... whoa! I look FREAKY! It looks like I have welts at the apples of my cheeks and two worm like lumps in my tear trough. They are humongous but any time I walk past a reflective surface or go into a bathroom at a restaurant, holy crap do I see them. I went back to the doctor and she admitted that the juvi moved and she was suprised. She said I should wait it out but I said no way, Juvi last for 9 months in my nasolabial area and I have two weddings that I'm in and I'm getting married too! She is calling around to some "experts" and the company itself to ask for advice. She seems genuinely concerned but I'm worried that if I can get the solution to dissolve it that I will look worse or that it will dissolve unevenly. She didn't inject that much product there (she used the leftover from my mouth area). So I guess I'm looking for more affirmation that the solution used to dissolve it really works well.
