NO Initial Results from 1.6 Cc's Artefill in Nasal and Marionette Lines - Did my Treatment Fail? - Tucson, AZ

ValRN, I can attest that Artefill does not work at all for some. I had two vials injected in naso-labials and marionette lines in April '10, and two more injected in August '10. To this day I have not seen even a slight improvement.

You're not the only one who got absolutely no results from Artefill. See my several posts under the Artefill topic for my sad details.

I'm not blaming the injectionists (I used two, to rule out injector error), so I don't want to give their names and badmouth them unfairly. Apparently the product just doesn't work at all for some people, and it's just my sad luck to be one of them. Still not a sign of a result to this day.

For Bowling Babe: Was there an "in-between" period when the cow collagen had been absorbed but your own collagen had not yet filled in, so that you had NO visible results? I ask because that is what happened to me. I had improvement for the first two weeks. Then the cow collagen absorbed (I assume), and from that point to now (12+ weeks post-injection), I have been back exactly where I started. My injectionist tells me this is normal and that the Artefill WILL eventually work (although exactly when is not clear!). Did you experience this, and/or were you told it was a possibility? I'm trying to find out if this is really normal. Thanks.
