Thy dnt do general anesthesia, only epidural block plus I think some Valium nd the blue pill. Everyone gets a diff amount administered to thm according to wht the the dr who performs the EKG suggests to the anesthesiologist. I would hav loved to bn out of it... Tht was my preference it jus ddnt wk out tht way for me.

I ws completely awake for 90% of my sx. Nd it's not a just close ur eyes nd sleep kinda thing. It's a being wide awake n bed late at night wishing u were sleep but u cnt. I ws lucid I cld say abc's I could speak clearly... I jus couldn't feel pain. I felt the sensations of wht thy were doing it jus ddnt hurt. I ddnt gt a blue pill so idk if tht wld hav made a diff. Try not to worry too much abt it ur body is gonna do wht it wants lol. Good luck!!
