NO! Hospitalized, Infection, Two Month on IV Antibiotics

I CAN NOT STRESS THE NEED FOR YOU ALL TO VISIT AN INFECTIOUS DISEASE SPECIALIST. HE SAVED MY LIFE... AND STILL DOES TO THIS DAY!!! I started this thread in 2010. Im still suffering. Its been hell. I did get better. I thought it was all behind me..... boy, was I wrong. One evening, over TWO YEARS LATER, the end of May 2012 I felt a very tender area in my gum line exactly where the original bruise and infection cellulite and staph infection originally started from the juviderm. When I woke up the next morning, I had a large bulging from my gum! I went to the dentist who wanted me to go to a oral surgeon. Sadly it was Memorial Day weekend so I couldnt find a open Oral Surgeon. Two hours later, my husband was rushing me to the ER. I was in horrible pain!!!! I finally got to a oral surgeon who immediately took me in for surgery. The bulge was a 2.3 centimeter cyst that BROKE through my Maxilla bone (its the bone above the gums and roots of your teeth. It is technically the upper jaw bone.) A few days after surgery, the infection came back so they had to drain it again. After two weeks, they did a bone graft. Of course it also got infected so the bone graft failed and they had to remove it. I had a drain placed in my jaw bone (Maxilla) to help drain the infection....twice. In all, I had 4 oral surgery's, due to damage from the jaw, I lost 3 teeth and have a permanent hole in my jaw. Whats worse it I had to back on a PICC line twice in the last two months due to my face swelling where the original cellulite was. PS: Once you have cellulite, you will forever have some cells in the area that can re-stimulate. I have very bad nerve damage. My ID doctor says is facial palsy. Because when I smile, the left side will not move. My lip and tongue burn (nerve). As long as Im on a PICC line, everything eases up. Also, From this May - now, I have spent over 18,000 on surgery.... Now my ID thinks I might have a bone fragment or another cyst behind the bone. I have another very painful knot coming up. I went today for a new PICC line. I go for a MRI the end of next week. A few days later I will see another Oral & Facial Surgeon/Specialist to see if he needs to remove the new growth. My ID and I feel like this is related to the Juvederm infection. We are guessing that after the originality infection in 2010, my bodies defenses tried to encapsulate the filler. In doing so, the mass continued to get bigger and bigger until it broke through my jaw. At this point all I can do is hope that at some point this will stop. My dentist is worried that I might have Osteomyelitis of the maxilla. Im sorry if this email seems all over the place. I just cant think straight anymore. I cant tell you how horrible this has been.
