Hello from Toronto. Had my first Sculptra injection April 19th, day 3 and no swelling or bruising just a bit of red blotchiness. After reading some of the posts here I am now frightened to have a second injection in 6 weeks. Have you done the second yet? Am massaging 5 times daily for 5 minutes.
Hello MBH, I just had my first Sculptra injection Monday April 19th. I am so sorry I didn't check out this website first. I trusted my derm as I've had botox from him for about 3 years in the brow and at crows feet. He thought Sculptra would be good to soften my jaw and fill temples and slight cheek hollows I'm developing (51 year old female). I feel so anxious now after reading the postings by Desperate along with so many others. So far I'm fine. My face was slightly swollen and some red blotchiness but it's pretty much back to normal. I am doing the 5 for 5 and wonder if I should continue longer than 5 days. Have you done a second treatment yet or have you decided not to continue? I just don't know what to do now.
Hello, I'm happy to know that you are so far pleased with your result. I had my first injection Monday April 19th. I really had never even heard of Sculptra but my dermatologist whom I trust, recommended it when I asked about filler for my hollowing cheeks. I am a 51 year old female. I agreed to have it done right then and there and naturally when I arrived home I researched it online. Wow, what a shock to see the adverse reactions some people are experiencing from this product. I feel so sorry for them and it is causing me great anxiety now to wonder if this Sculptra will disfigure me. I notice you haven't posted since February, are you still pleased with your result?
