So glad I found this post. Did the VI peel on Wed - was not uncomfortable at all during application or for the 4 hours after. The next day, all was ok, just looked like I had been in the sun WAY too long. Started peeling on Fri, but still no real discomfort. Yesterday (Sat) my face felt super tight & on fire. Every time I opened my mouth to eat, drink, or God forbid SMILE, it felt like my face was cracking into a hundred pieces. Today is Sunday (day 5) & is by far the worst of it. "ON FIRE" does not do justice to how my face feels today. I had the VI peel applied by a licensed aesthetician, but she did not prepare me for these side effects. Also, she only told me to apply the VI SPF 30 followed by the VI moisturizer once in the morning & said I could apply Cortizone periodically if I had "mild itching." The VI products do not seem to agree w/ me & even the Cortizone feels like pouring salt into open wounds right now. I paid for 2 of these...not sure if I will do the 2nd one. Will post again if the end results are worth it!
