I tried Renova years ago when it was first released. I'm Native american with light brown skin. I tan wonderfully and never burn (although I never "sunbathed" until I was 30 years old! Even then it was minimal) I'm 47 now and I still get carded. It's great!!!!! Renova is best for fair/ light skined individuals. For us naturally pigmented individuals, it may hyperpigment the skin as it did with me. Of course everyone is different but that's my own experience. Oh forgot to tell you, I'm a physician who has had a terrible time with acne and subsequent acne scarring. Thus, I have tried everything. Fortunately age has helped, but still get tend to get intermittant bouts of mild acne. I'm thinking seriously about laser for the scars on my nose. Thanks all. "Realself.com" is fantastic!
