Regarding TT compared to a C-section.
I had a C-section for twins and then 3 years later a Full TT. (at the age of 42) The C-section was so much easier than the TT for me. No comparison.
The first couple weeks, I wondered why the heck it did it at all, really depressed. But now, 10 months out, so VERY glad I did it. I feel so much more free, and confidant. I don't worry about my big hanging belly being the first thing people notice, I don't worry being intimate with my husband. Now I worry about my wrinkles! But those, I will keep!:) Just hang in there!

Hi, I am also feeling MUCH better now! It was (is) a much longer road than I thought! Now I am still kinda sore, and when sit for any lenght of time, when stand up,I feel very tight and even often get pains shooting. My muscles are the most sore though and I have to be very sure that I don't overdo it. my doctor told me I can't really lift anything heavy till the middle of July. :( I have started walking and such, but really want to really work out! I admit now, that I will be very glad that I did this! :) My biggest problem now is that my waist is so small, all my pants are huge around my waist. But my thighs are too big for smaller pants!! So I must workout to get rid them. :) At least I think that I can do that on my own! I am surprised that I have to be careful how I move. Quick movements can really hurt and I am also scared to work my abs. SO, for now, I won't because I don't want to undo everything! I really wish I had been in top shape before the surgery, I guess that is my best advice. Be in top shape, and it will take longer to heal than you think. People told me it would be just like a c-section. Well, then I had a miracle easy c-section and those people must have had an awful one, I guess. But really, the truth is, it is different for everyone so take you time!! I am so glad that you are doing so well! I will try again to post some photos!

Wow, you sound like you are bouncing back really fast!! i had an extended TT with muscle repair and some hip lipo on April 7th and I am still complaining! :) I am recovering too slow for my patience. You however, must be in great shape and from the photos, it looks like you will look FABULOUS!! I am so happy for you!

Hi! How are things for you now? I slept in my bed for two nights, but it was so hard to move I went back to the chair for a few nights. But I miss my husband so I think I will try again tonight. :) I am still very sore, and it comes bad in waves. Some days/hours I feel 60% better, then other days I fall back to 25%. Go figure. All I can figure is that I must do too much for a couple days and then I pay for it later. Though, really I don't do much. Sunday I went food shopping for a couple hours (I walk slow right now and had to restock!) and by the end I thought I would cry putting it all away. So today the kids went back to school so I layed around mostly till the afterschool taxi time! I shall see tomorrow if it helped. I still have a huge swollen band across my back and my lower ad and pubic bone is still swollen. My stiches are healing well, they won't be perfect I can tell from some that ARE perfect, there are some that have healed kinda puckered. Oh well, still worlds better and I am looking forward to getting strong abs. I also still have tons of strech marks. He told me he could only remove the ones below the bellybutton because the skin above it would now be below it. And unfortunately for me, I had a TON stretch marks above AND below. Still, it will be much better and again the biggest thing, I think will be being able to finally strengthen my stomach muscles. I think having a strong core will be nice. Now if I can only work on my big thighs and butt! :) So,..still waiting to feel more normal, walk straight, not cringe when a sneeze is coming,.....ect. It is so obvious that there is something wrong with me, and I really don't like explaining it to everyone I meet. Will love walking and running again! Funny how something like this really makes you grateful for all the "normal" stuff we do in life! Wow, I really shouldn't post after midnight, i tend to ramble! Well goodnight, I shall try my bed again. Let me know how you are doing!!

Hi, how are things going now? I am at day 14, and feeling mentally better, and am getting around more now! I am using only advil during the day and will try to only use that tonight and hope to try my own bed tonight, just that it's very soft, and I am afraid I won't get out! :) I still cannot imagine going back to work, I can only, sit/stand/lay for short periods of time. Lucky for me I work parttime and they are very helpful! I am still very swollen esp. on my belly, pubic bone, and a 4inch wide stripe all across my back. It is so painful on my back, and I can't figure it out. I also have a very tender/nervy left thigh, gotta ask the doctor about that. But I see the light and feel so much more hopeful than I did last week. I think I just expected to feel better faster. i spoke to too many people that i guess heal much faster than me, or else blocked it all out. :) How are you doing???
