So glad things are getting better although at a snails pace (I hear you) ..the CACI sounds heaven sent..wish they had one near me ..also had to tune my tua machine down on the right side because the some of the muscles would go crazy at the intensity it took to make others barely respond.. laid off tua on right temple altogether until I see some major changes.
bought some bubble gum ..the kind you get in gumball machines ...to give me a fabulous temple workout.. been chewing daily.
Had my 38th birthday sunday and went out with a new friend/coworker last night who acted shocked to find out my age ..bless her heart she's only 27
made her vow to never ever get botox/filler
Hi Trippy Melty et all ...yes we have gone quiet lol ...I hope everyone else is quiet because they are recovered and have put this behind them.
I on the other hand am quiet because I'm not recovering and it is hard to face this may just be permanent for me.
My eyes have only gotten more baggy and creased over the months as the muscles slowwwwwly regain strength. My cheeks are still low on my face and the resulting saggy facial skin has given me a constant "droopy" appearance which makes me look tired when still and stressed when expressive. The left side of my mouth still pulls down considerably when I speak giving my face a lopsided appearance very much like a stroke victim. My right temple is still concave and the muscles have not fully recovered.
Improvements? Yes some ..don't mean to be totally negative but they have been slight. My left temple has filled out quite well and left cheek is lifting a tad more than it did 18 months ago. My skin has tightened a bit as it does not hang as low on my jawline as it did in the beginning.
The way I see it I am improving at a snails pace and it will probably take another 2 years for full muscle recovery, building the muscle bulk and tightening the skin (I pray the skin will tighten up again around my eyes)
Sorry for the bad news but I am trying to accept my face the way it is now and live peacefully with the current conditions.
I have myself to blame for slacking on face exercises. Am still trying to make myself get on a regular schedule with them but find it so depressing to do them because then I begin thinking too much about all this instead of just living life!
Please don't anyone lose faith because of my situation. It seems I am the exception NOT the rule when it comes to recovery.
In general I am happier than I was because of some other fabulous improvements in my life (marriage, baby on the way, starting a business, etc) and my appearance has taken a back seat to all this.
If someone were to make a documentary film about the downfalls of Botox would any of you be willing to appear in interviews ? It would be possible to appear without disclosing your identity ie dark room or voiceover
Please give me feedback on this board or in private. I am quite serious.
I'm so glad to see you all getting better and feeling hopeful! Congrats to everyone for keeping the faith and recovering beautifully.
My progress is excruciating but I have seen very slight improvement in my left cheek recently ..beginning to get some semblance of definition back which makes me hopeful. Lots of tingling lately around where the filler was placed on left side. I believe the remainder of the filler there is dissolving now hallelujah ! Let's hope the right side is next. It has been 15 mos with numerous jabs of hyaluronadase..
Trying to keep spirits high as I've got a baby on the way :))
Good for you girl! Make those poor b*stards pay for what they put you through. Just the fact a lawyer thinks you have a chance of winning is fantastic !
I'm likewise keeping indoors this summer still avoiding friends and events ..lately cant even respond on FB or on here for that matter ..my BF is the only one I interact with and he has come to accept my state of depression ( numb dissociation now..
that said I have seen small signs of progress lately ..my left cheek seems to be losing some of the edema from filler...becoming more sculpted and left dark circle slightly less ghastly ..
I find my greatest goal is to fill out the temple area as the puny state of muscles there are the biggest culprit to my facial sagging
Eye bags seem the hardest to overcome though Ive had some recent improvement
.. daily caffeine cream on them and castor oil at night which draws out toxins (wash off in AM)
one day at a time eh
At least we are seeing changes meaning our bodies are (slowllllly) overcoming this damn lethal poison

I have a question for everybody on this thread .
If someone were to make a documentary film about the downfalls of Botox would any of you be willing to appear in interviews ? It would be possible to appear without disclosing your identity ie dark room or voiceover
Please give me feedback on this board or in private. I am quite serious.
Thanks ladies
