Where exactly is the indentation and how wide is it? Did the doctor only inject in the tear trough area or did he go into the cheek. They sometimes go into the cheeks to plump up and provide more support. There are several doctors that respond on this website. You should write to them for an answer.

Hi Lisa, So sorry to hear about your situation. I'll tell you what happened to me and it might help. I first had Juvederm done by a doctor who injected too superficially. This creates bags, I have come to find out. A qualified doctor injects deep to the bone and then it looks very natural. If you have an indentation, you can move the juvederm around by pressing on it and massaging it and you have to be very careful because it can create indentations. My experience using hyaularonadaise(spelled wrong!)was that it totally desolved the Juvederm only where it was injected. So you may need more in an extended area. But you may be able to massage around what you still have left and make it look decent. When you do Juvederm under the eyes in the tear trough area, it is crucial you find someone who is very experienced in working in that area and injects to the bone. If they go right under the skin, you will get bags and hate the results. I found someone who does it the correct way and he had to desolve the amount that was right at the baggy area but left the rest that was closer to my eyes. Then he injected deeply. ( I suggest you take some valium or xanax cuz it really hurt.) But so worth it. I look refreshed now instead of always looking tired. And it last for 1 or 2 years when injected deeply. I hope this helps and make sure you find someone who is really qualified in this area. Every dr. I talked to said this is a very difficult area to inject and it requires skill. Good Luck!

Hi Amy, Hyaluronidase works immediately and dissolves the Juvederm. If you go that route, your skin might look a little wrinkled and stretched out until it goes back to its original state. As your doctor told you, the Juvederm migrated. Well you might try moving it yourself. Massage it where you want it to go, and start gently. You'll see you can move it around. I've moved mine all over to try and get rid of bags. Use cream on your finger to make it easier to glide over your skin. Sometimes it looks better, sometimes not, so beware. Good luck.

Hi kj, Would you share with me who your doctor is and where he is located? I've had two different doctors, both highly recommended, inject Juvederm under my eyes. One injected just under the skin and created a baggy look. Eight months later, the other doctor injected deeply and I literally almost passed out from the pain, even with the numbing injections first! The sunken hollows (and dark circles) make me look so tired, especially without concealer. I am desperate to find someone who is good at this (I'm in Orange County). I believe Juvederm is the right product but haven't found the right fit yet. Please help!
