Hmm, did you know that the Artefill website says it is not to be used in the lips?

Hi there, It's true that Artefill does fill immediately. The problem is that about 50% is bovine collagen which is absorbed by your body and the other 50% remains. I couldn't really get this definitive answer from my doctor until the second time I'd had Artefill. I wouldn't say it's not at all worth it, because it's more economical in the long run. It does seem to require more injections than other fillers to accomplish adequate filling. Hope this helps you!
About 2 months after the second injection. This doctor has done all my previous injections, so I know his experience or skill level was not an issue. I should also say I'm 36 so it's not like I have major sagging or wrinkling, which requires more volume to correct.
Hi there,
I understand that sometimes as we age a lower level of body fat can have detrimental effects on the face and people can sometimes look gaunt.
I'm not especially skinny, but I have an angular face and people have always thought I was older than I was, even when I was 18. I had one vial at the first injection and then another 6 months later.
I also think that the look because more natural the longer the duration that you use it. Initially I looked a little overfull and now it takes the contours of my face much better.
