  • Posted to Lower Facelift, Neck Lift and Upper Eyelids Instead of Lifestyle Lift - Happy with my Choice on 9 Dec 2010

    Hi!

I am actually starting to feel MUCH better! Finally! It's been 8 months and I remember thinking the other day...wow- I didn't feel the need to put anything on my neck to cool it down. It's not as tight...it's really starting to calm down. Phwew!
I would love to show you but I can't remember the password-and am too swamped to post more.
If you want to send me a PM (I don't know how to do that) with your email addy I can send you pics if you swear on your life you will delete them right away! Lol.
Thanks for asking. I'm thinking in a month or so I'll post an update ; )
  • Posted to 2 Years After my Liftstyle Lift and I Still Have Nightmares on 11 Apr 2010

Hi Eve, I, too, was bugged with my neck (and jaw) area and saw the ads for Lifestyle Lift and stumbled onto this site. I thank GOD that I did. But what I did was find a fantastic surgeon~ a good book to read is "A smart woman's guide to plastic surgery". Anyway, if you decide not to have surgery, that's great- but if you want it, you can get it with fantastic results with the right information and Dr. I am ecstatic I did it! And I feel so horrible for all the women who have butchered by this awful company. Good luck with your choice ; ) Take care!
  • Posted to Frustrated with the dark circles and hollows under my eyes on 9 Apr 2010

Hi! I just had bleph on my upper lids (one super droopy eyelid before), face and neck lift and am ecstatic with the results. I only have one nagging thing left that bugs me and has for years. I have no fat under my eyes and so they always look dark. Concealer is my best friend! I've read too much here about fat injections and have decided it's not worth the risk. I would rather keep Laura Mercier in business! Besides major surgery (I've had mine and I'm good!), is there any help for my dark under eyes?

How soon did this happen? Was it right after surgery or did it creep up on you? I hope you sue him. You might be able to find someone down the road to help with that scar~ that Dr shouldn't get away with this. I think you have two years to sue. Good luck!

First, I am so sorry for what happened. It's awful and I feel so bad for you. To answer Gingerfleur- I don't think a cut was made there. I think It's possible that that area had no blood supply. When they lift the neck up off the muscles and put it back, it takes a while for the blood supply to come back. I had a facelift from an amazing Dr~ and I put frozen peas along the sides of my head (I had a cloth so the bag wasn't sitting right on my face). The next day I went in I had something on my neck, a blister. He said "that's weird, did you put something on your neck?" Then we figured I had accidently burned myself with the bag of peas.I was so scared! Then I came home and found this picture...my anxiety level went way up there. I put antibiotic ointment on it and it's pretty much healed-but that's kind of what it may have looked like had it gotten worse. Did you put any ice on your neck by any chance? Good luck to you and God bless~
