No, Phenol just bleaches the skin, which is fine for me as I have a light/fair features. It is unsuitable for individuals with dark skin but I've been told my skin should (hopefully!!) be the same/slighter shade than th rest of my skin.
Results in women with blue eyes and who burn (which I do) in the sun are generally very positive.
