Diane.....Your comments above mirror mine exactly. I too felt as though this whole event was nothing but a cattle call. I arrived for my consultation appointment only to have to wait close to two hours before being seen (I justified the long delay as a fluke, something that wouldn't happen again especially in a professional field such as this). Decided to go forward with the procedure, paid the charges and left with much apprehension. Day of the procedure (11/07), drove two hours to arrive at the required hour prior to the procedure. NOTE: As instructed, I ate prior to arriving at the Phoenix office building (procedure scheduled for 1:00)....five hours later, I'm called in to be prepped. Two and a half hours later (now 7:30 p.m.), I'm told I can go home. The attendant sits me up and I almost pass out, gee could it be I hadn't eaten for over nine hours while WAITING for my procedure to begin, then another two hour drive home. Returned to have stitches removed and asked to see the doctor as I had a very large lump on my neck (size of a large walnut). After being looked at by three different techs, the doctor finally came in and said it looked to him to be a stitch that must have come loose... nothing to worry about, use moist heat. I had two other concerns but was told that I had to make a separate appointment to see the doctor. I did as I was told (like cattle do), made the appointment, drove two hours only to wait over two hours. In response to my inquiry as to how much longer the wait will be, I was told it would be another 45 minutes or longer. In my opinion, this is totally unacceptable and unprofessional. Never did see the doctor and after eight months since the procedure, the jowls are sagging, skin is very loose and areas behind my ears are lumpy and sore to the touch. I removed the stitches that had surfaced prior to my scheduled, separate appointment to see the doctor. Once they had my money, I was just one a number, no longer a person and the personnel (including the doctor) no longer had an interest. I made a mistake and hope this website will keep others from doing the same.
